A straightforward error caused total damage to Tori Spelling’s eye.

Tori Spelling provided an update on her health after being spotted with a rhinestone eye patch.

On the most recent 9021OMG podcast, the 49-year-old Beverly Hills, 90210 star elaborated on why she required the new item while talking about her left eye ulcer.

“I’m at fault. I made myself go through this. Jennie Garth, a co-host and former co-star, received an explanation from Spelling. “Even though I have contacts, I wear them every day. So, kids, at the end of the day, I can make all the excuses I want. I don’t take them away. I snooze there. They must be changed because they are unhealthy.

The TV personality claimed that she had “been known to go maybe 20 days [wearing them],” but she did not specify how long she did so before developing an illness.

I am familiar with you. It is deplorable. I inform my eye doctor. As her cohost questioned, “What’s wrong with you?” she said, “I’m absolutely honest.”

She was “lucky to get away with it” after what she had done “with her eyes for this long,” her doctor reportedly informed her, according to the spelling.

Indeed, I was fortunate this time, she acknowledged. Not going to take it for granted,” she added, adding that she will switch to monthly contact lenses once her eye healed.

According to medical professionals at Mount Sinai, an infection with bacteria, viruses, fungus, or a parasite is the most common cause of corneal ulcers. Symptoms include cloudy or hazy vision, bloodshot eyes, irritation, sensitivity to light, and itchy, watery eyes. While treatment depends on the underlying cause, eye drops are usually used to reduce swelling and discomfort.

On March 24, Spelling shared a photo of her eye condition on her Instagram Stories and mentioned that her doctor had prescribed antibiotic eye drops.

“Thank you for your nice comments and consideration,” she replied, attaching a picture of herself lying down. Everyone has inquired as to whether or not I scratched my cornea. Well, I have an eye ulcer. The doctor prescribed antibiotic drops and said that it should “ideally” recover in seven to ten days.
