The iconic diva Cher and her younger lover Alexander “AE” Edwards have chosen to call it quits on their long-diamond relationship.
A few weeks ago, the 76-year-old Believe pop singer and 36-year-old Edwards reportedly called it quits, months after their relationship was publicly recognized.
Cher tweeted, “One part of my life is SO AMAZING,” in November 2022, throwing her followers into a frenzy.
She quickly addressed the issue by posting a picture of her new companion along with a heart emoji.
with the statement, “Love doesn’t know math!” Cher admitted that she had previously shared Edwards with her entire family. Those who questioned the two’s stark age difference (Alexander is 36 years old, while Cher is 76 years old) are likely what prompted her to make the remark.

Many people took the chance to criticize the strange combination, but the couple seemed prepared to disregard any detractors.
When Edwards’ supporters voiced their worries, maybe suspecting the politician had hidden agendas, Cher replied, “As we All Know…I wasn’t born yesterday, and despite what I can be confident of, nothing is certain. Every time you make a choice, you run the risk. Gambling has always been a habit of mine.
Cher, who is 40 years Alexander’s junior, uploaded a photo of what seemed to be an expensive diamond ring around Christmas and stated that she had “no words” for him. Rumors that the couple was engaged grew as a result.
The rumor mill went into overdrive since Alexander and Cher didn’t openly confirm or deny if it was an engagement ring.
In March, it was revealed that the two collaborated on tracks for Cher’s next album. Cher said at the time to E! Online, “Some of the songs Alexander gave me, so I’m pretty excited about that.” I’m happy he manages everything because he is a producer and a writer.
Since then, it has been revealed that the pair never had a legal engagement. E! Online claims that they split amicably a few weeks ago.
Cher famously married Gregg Allman after her first marriage to American singer Sonny Bono ended in 1975.
Prior to their breakup, Alexander, vice president of A&R at Dem Jam Recordings, dated Amber Rose for three years; they share a kid.
