As they danced on the dance floor after their wedding, the guests saw something at the bride’s feet.

Dannie Mountford, 19, of the West Midlands, burst her waters while dancing on the dance floor with her new husband at 36 weeks and 2 days into her pregnancy.

Though they had only planned the wedding for six weeks, Dannie and her husband Carl were certain that their baby daughter wouldn’t come until January.

On the evening of their wedding on December 18, Dannie burst into tears while dancing with her new partner while still wearing her dress.

After that, Dannie was taken to the hospital, where the next morning, baby Jasmine was born.

“I was dancing with my new husband one minute and giving birth to my baby girl the next,” Dannie said.

Although it came as a major surprise, it has enhanced our wedding day memories and will make it even more amazing in the future.

“While dancing, I felt something seeping down my leg. When it didn’t stop, I rushed to my mother, who helped me to the bathroom.”

I was in the toilet when all of the wedding guests rushed in to see how I was doing, and someone phoned a cab to take me to the hospital.

“I didn’t take off my wedding gown until I was in the delivery room.” It was drenched since my waters had burst on it.

In just six weeks, Dannie and Carl, who are both eighteen, organized their wedding with the intention of being married legally before their daughter was born.

Nevertheless, their happy day was cut short when baby Jasmine showed up early.

“We left the reception around 10.30 p.m. to go to the hospital, but several family members lingered for the remainder of the event,” said Dannie, a full-time mother at work.

“The DJ was still spinning when I left, and several people had not finished their drinks. Not yet had we begun slicing the cake!

Luckily, Carl had stayed somewhat sober and hadn’t drunk too much throughout the reception.

“He was really anxious when I went into labor, but once he calmed down, he was amazing during the birth.”

When Dannie got to the hospital, she had been in labor for about six hours.

Even though Jasmine was shocked to see Dannie, she arrived in good health and with her mother and husband.

“Jasmine is doing great and was the perfect wedding gift, despite barely weighing 6 pounds 4 ounces and arriving almost a month early,” said Dannie.

It was amazing since it also meant that our friends and family were the first to find out.

“Because it was so unexpected, everything has been crazy since, but I wouldn’t change a thing.
