Even though it seems that a lot of famous people who have been in the public eye recently seem to have passed away, the news of the death of a well-known individual just today caught all of us completely off guard. Actress Nicki Lynn Aycox had turned 47 at the time of her departure. In the television series Supernatural, she was most recognized for playing Meg Masters.

It was dreadful of her sister-in-law to have spread the devastating news of her passing across so many different social media sites. We do, however, know that she previously disclosed details about her leukemia diagnosis. We do not currently know anything about the circumstances surrounding her dying.

The Supernatural creator, Eric Kripke, immediately took to Twitter after learning of her passing to express his grief over the tragic situation and to add that he was “gutted.” Her ability to deliver lines with both sweetness and venom in her delivery caught his attention, and he remarked on how delightful she was. Because of the work she did, a common phrase like “lackluster” has gained legendary status, and I am amazed at how she managed to pull this off.

Aycox’s acting career has taken him all over the country, and just to name a few of his credits are Providence, Over There, Dark Blue, Ed, and Cold Case. Aycox has traveled far and wide due to his acting career.

I ask God to give her spirit the tranquility and contentment it so much needs.
