Vikki Fraker, Stewart’s sister-in-law, spoke out about her on social media after learning of her passing.

Prior to entering politics, Stewart was a local TV personality. She then worked as Mike Huckabee’s communications director while he was the governor of Arkansas.
After working on his campaign, she went on to assist other Republican contenders with their own campaigns, including Michele Bachmann, Rick Santorum, and Texas Senator Ted Cruz.
She joined CNN in 2016 during election season and became a staple very fast.
The network released a statement on Saturday upon their learning of her passing on Friday.
