A 6-year-old kid was fatally stabbed, according to numerous accounts, and the news is shocking.
The boy and his family are Muslims, according to the authorities, thus that was the motivation. Wadea Al-Fayoume, the child, is an American-Palestinian.

Their landlord Joseph Czuba assaulted Al-Fayoume and his mother, Hanaan Shahin, 32. Shahin, who was attacked and sustained terrible injuries, is still in the hospital.

According to the Will County Sheriff’s Office, “detectives were able to determine that both victims in this brutal attack were targeted by the suspect due to them being Muslims and the ongoing Middle Eastern conflict involving Hamas and the Israelis.”

Following the loss of his son, Al-Fayoume’s uncle spoke out on behalf of the family, stating, “He’s a 6-year-old boy. He enjoys playing games, just like any other 6-year-old child, Yousef added.

“I simply want to let everyone know that we live in the United States of America. We don’t have a war going on and we’re not bringing one here.

Two days after being killed on October 16, Wadea was buried.

According to ABC News, Czuba has been accused with first-degree murder after the police classified the fatal assault as a hate crime. According to reports, Czuba attacked with a “military-style knife”.

Yousef believes that the incident happened because of President Joe Biden’s support for Israel, although Biden has issued a statement denouncing the hate crime committed against the family.

“The child’s Palestinian Muslim family emigrated to America in search of what all people seek: a safe place to live, grow, and worship. This heinous act of hatred has no place in America and goes against our core principles, which include the freedom from fear to practice our religion as we see fit and to be who we are.
