5 years old and already a hero! After a horrible disaster, this little child rescued her family.

In the van on the way to their grandparents with her mother, Angela, and her 2-year-old brother, Peter, Lexi Shymanski, then 5-years-old, noted that Angela was extremely exhausted after working late and putting in additional hours the night before. The girl’s mother briefly closed her eyes out of exhaustion, which caused chaos to ensue. They lost control of the vehicle due to a brief period of inattention, and after hitting a tree, they plunged into a ravine.
The automobile halted in a tree after falling down the ravine approximately ten meters. After seeing that her mother and brother weren’t doing well when she woke up a few minutes after the collision, little Lexi had the courage to get out of the car, climb the hill barefoot, and begin seeking for someone who could assist. By pure luck and good fortune, a paramedic was driving the first automobile to halt when it saw the barefoot girl standing by the side of the road.
The woman’s back was broken when the paramedic arrived at the scene of the accident thanks to Lexi. The paramedic then contacted a group of firemen to safely remove the two off the steep slope. The three were taken to the hospital where they received specialist care after the firefighters were able to remove the automobile out of the hole. Due to the accident, Little Peter experienced intracranial hemorrhage. Little Lexi’s mother and younger brother made it through because to her.
