Nicolas Coster, an actor, passed suddenly in a Florida hospital at 9:01 p.m., according to a Facebook post by his daughter Dinneen Coster. She wrote, “There is immense grief in my heart this evening. Please be motivated by his artistic achievements since he was a great actor’s actor.
Coster had a lengthy career in theater, cinema, and television. He is well known for playing Lionel Lockridge in the soap opera “Santa Barbara.” He portrayed Robert Delaney on “Another World” before that series, and he also made a brief appearance on “One Live to Live.” 1933-born Coster started acting in his teenage years when he was a student at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. Elizabeth Taylor co-starred in Coster’s Broadway production of “All the President’s Men” alongside Robert Redford.
No justification for Coster’s demise was given at the time. Dinnean and Candace Coster, his two children, are still living.
