How tragic. We mournfully announce the demise of

Unexpectedly, an Instagram star died from a blood clot following liposuction.

Tuesday saw the death of Elena Larrea, 30, due to a pulmonary embolism. Only a few days before, she underwent surgery.

Elena’s family revealed on social media that she passed away from pulmonary thrombosis, a condition in which a blood clot travels from the legs to the lungs.

Although the reason for the blood clot’s formation is still unknown, liposuction is believed to have been the cause of her death.

The strong woman was well-known for her efforts to save animals. She founded the Cuacolandia horse sanctuary seven years ago.

She saved animals that had been mistreated or abandoned, including mules, horses, and donkeys.

Elena collaborated with her state’s politicians to criminalize bestiality.

Even to prevent the shelter in Atlixco, southeast of Mexico City, from closing, the star collaborated with OnlyFans.

At the time, she said that the COVID-19 epidemic was causing her financial difficulties, and she was utilizing the adult platform to prevent the sanctuary from closing.

Elena stated, “I was already considering closing the sanctuary and finding new homes for the horses.”

One of my buddies suggested that I start an OnlyFans. What happens if it succeeds?

“Look, I’m going to open one and see if it hits,” I told myself.

The business endeavor succeeded, and the influencer used the money earned to prevent the refuge from collapsing.

Almost fifty animals currently reside in Cuacolandia, which has also prevented 312 horses from being mistreated or abandoned.

The state’s governor, Sergio Salomon, offered a heartfelt eulogy for the activist who passed away and discussed the significance of her work.

In his remarks, he expressed his profound grief for Elena Larrea’s passing. She devoted her life to promoting animal welfare.

“She saved hundreds of mistreated horses, which is evidence of her life and labor.

We want her family and friends to know that Puebla’s administration is here to support them.

“The safety of the animals at Cuacolandia is guaranteed by the Ministry of the Environment.”

“We will provide the authorities with all the assistance they require to care for horses beyond those they have already rescued, always prioritizing their welfare.”

“We’ll follow your lead.” Elena, I hope you find peace.

“I have loved horses so much my whole life,” Elena remarked just before she passed away. They have been my ride since I was a young child.

“I decided to open the Cuacolandia sanctuary as a way to give back to the horses for everything they had done for me as an adult.”

There is no information available on whether her death is being investigated by the authorities.
