According to the authorities, there was a gunshot early on Sunday morning at a hotel in Tampa, Florida.
Three other people were injured, and Foolio was the only confirmed dead.
The incident took place shortly before five in the morning ET at a Holiday Inn parking lot.

According to a report from Joneé Lewis, the Tampa Police Department’s public relations officer, two automobiles were fired upon by Fox 2 Now News.
“The victim in this morning’s shooting is believed to be Charles Jones,” Tampa Police Public Information Officer Jonee’ Lewis stated in a news statement, according to News4JAX.
“Regarding positive identification, confirmation from the Medical Examiner’s Office is required.”
Furthermore, Foolio’s attorney, Lewis Fusco, posted a confirmation of the rapper’s passing on his own Instagram Stories.
