In these hard times, Alan Jackson is in our hearts and prayers.

Alan Jackson, a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, said on Tuesday that he has been identified as having a combination of diseases called Charcot-Marie-Tooth illness, which affects the nerves. This condition has made it challenging for him to walk about and keep his balance on stage.

During an interview with Jenna Bush Hager of the “TODAY” show, Jackson, 62, said that he acquired the condition from his father and that many members of his family had also been impacted by it. His health was assessed ten years ago.

Jackson claimed, “I’ve been affected by it for years, and everyone around me can see it more and more.” She said, “I just feel incredibly uneasy, and I just want people to know that’s why I look like I do. And I’m aware that I’m fumbling about on stage; also, I’m finding it a bit difficult to balance even in front of the microphone, which makes me feel quite uneasy. Adding, “And I know I’m stumbling around on stage, and now I’m having a little trouble even balancing in front of the microphone.”

Although the condition is not life-threatening, he said that it will ultimately hinder him from carrying out his duties, and he did not want his supporters to feel sorry for him.

This past spring saw the release of “Where Have You Gone,” Michael Jackson’s first brand-new album in more than six years. He now only has one tour date scheduled, which will take place on October 8 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. This program was originally scheduled to premiere in 2020.

He has no imminent intentions to discontinue giving live performances.

Speaking for himself, he said, “I’ve always felt that I never wanted to do a retirement tour like people do, then take a year off, and come back.” I’ve always thought I’d like not to do a retirement trip as other folks do. Some of my idols have always been favorites of mine because they never stop playing and give it their all on the field. He said, “I’d like to follow their example, if my health would permit me. “Some of my idols have always inspired me, I know it sounds cliched…Simply said, they never stop playing and play as much as they can.
