A horrible event has shocked and saddened the people of Ogden Canyon, Utah. Sally was the 16-year-old daughter of the CEO and President of Lifetime Products. They perished in a horrific bulldozer accident.
Their GMC pickup was struck by a tow truck towing a miniature bulldozer on July 6, which resulted in the collision. The collision occurred as both vehicles were navigating a right-hand turn on Highway 39.
The fact that the bulldozer broke free from the tow truck and collided with the Hendrickson family’s vehicle is awful. Sally and her fifty-seven-year-old husband Richard were in the truck at the time.

At the scene of the collision, the father and daughter were pronounced deceased. Though not life-threatening, the injuries sustained by the other two individuals were not good. Richard’s passing has stunned and grieved friends and coworkers. They recall him as a visionary leader who inspired affection among all members of the team and the community.
Richard’s incredible path from welder to CEO and president of Lifetime Products demonstrates his talent and skill. His friends and coworkers are devastated by his passing. Richard was one of the closest and most reliable friends of Lifetime Products founder Barry Mower.

Additionally, Utah Governor Spencer Cox offered his sympathies, stating that Richard will always be remembered as a wonderful leader and friend. Following the horrific disaster, everyone is bragging about how safe Highway 39 is once more. A petition has been started asking for restrictions on the kinds of vehicles that are permitted to use this constrained, two-lane road.
The petition raises concerns about the risks associated with larger cars using the perilous path through Ogden Canyon. With over 1,700 signatures so far, the petition calls for actions to be taken to improve Highway 39’s safety and prevent further tragedies.

Together, let’s ensure the safety of our loved ones and the residents of Weber County. To demonstrate your support and contribute to making driving to work in our stunning canyon safer for people, please sign the petition.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Hendrickson family and all those harmed in this horrific event.
