The Zappos Theater is currently hosting Keith Urban: The Las Vegas Residency, his residency show in Las Vegas. Urban was not there for his own soundcheck before a recent performance, even though his entire band was there. because he was too focused on discrediting his critics.
Urban was having the time of his life while riding an excavator and completely wrecking a Ford Festiva. The legendary singer of country music shared the clip, in which his band and crew look to be bewildered and inquire about Urban’s whereabouts when it’s time for soundcheck.
Prior to starting to destroy the car, Urban is seen in the video painting “shine blockers” on it in yellow paint. Urban earlier said in an interview with me that shine blocks are the definition of a hater. They constantly attempt to make your light less visible, but he is just motivated to shine even brighter by their efforts.
He takes up the car, dumps it, rams the bucket of the huge earth mover through the roof, then flips the whole thing upside down, roaring with joy as he metaphorically obliterates his opponents.
Urban raises his hand at the end of the clip while standing on the car’s wreckage, then he probably leaves for soundcheck and another good performance. The “Brown Eyes Baby” singer just extended the duration of his Vegas engagement by eight more dates.
