When the Prince and Princess of Wales bought pizza for mountain rescue workers, they met a man selling pizza and wrote a touching funeral speech for him.
Father of two Peter Morris, who was 47 years old, died of cancer in May, not long after Kate was told she had it.
On notepaper from Kensington Palace, Prince William wrote his wife Tracey a letter of condolence. When he died, it was read.
He remarked, “It’s impossible to fathom the immense void he will create in your existence.” “You and your family are in my prayers.”
“Catherine and I thoroughly enjoyed our meeting with Pete.”
The way people have reacted to Pete’s passing indicates that he was a devoted and well-liked member of the community.
“I wanted you to know that you are currently on your family’s mind.”
Kate and Wills paid £127.50 for 12 pizzas from Peter’s VW van conversion in April of last year. Peter is a resident of South Wales’ Ebbw Vale.
While at the Dowlais Rugby Club in Merthyr Tydfil, they offered the Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team a selection of pizzas. Margarita, pepperoni, BBQ chicken, and goat cheese pizzas were on offer.
Peter said, “They were really nice,” at the moment. I never would have imagined that I would work for the young king one day when I was starting the company.
Pete launched Little Dragon Pizza Van in 2016.
Four months after he became a prince, physicians discovered adrenal gland and liver cancer, even though he had defeated esophageal cancer. In less than a year, he passed away, yet the company continues.
Pete’s five- and eight-year-old kids will have the letter from William framed.
The 40-year-old Tracey stated to The Sun, “It was a huge surprise.” How they found out that Pete had passed away is beyond me. They may have connected with it because Kate is receiving assistance.
“He discussed how typical they were.”
“We received many letters from people expressing their love for Pete, but William and Kate’s letter was the most beautiful.”
