Curb Your Enthusiasm actor Keith Lewis passed away from a heart attack.

On Wednesday, admirers, along with co-star Larry David and Hollywood actress Bette Midler, honored Richard on social media.

A well-liked stand-up comic passed away at the age of 76, according to Deadline.

His publicist claimed after the fact that it was due to a heart attack on Tuesday.

Richard rose to fame in the 1980s as a comedian.

After making appearances on late-night talk shows including The Tonight Show, The Howard Stern Show, and The Late Show With David Letterman, he rose to fame.

The TV and movie star portrayed a fictionalized version of himself on the popular HBO series Curb Your Enthusiasm. In the twelfth season, he reprised the same role alongside Larry David.

In addition, he starred in the television series Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Once Upon a Crime, The Elevator, and Anything But Love.

HIS ACTION VS. PARKINSON
In April 2023, Richard discussed his health on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

“I said, ‘You know, I’m at the top of my game, after 50 years almost, I’m just going to call it quits,’ three and a half years ago, when I was in the middle of a tour.”

“Abruptly, the worst happened.” I had four surgeries back-to-back. I was astounded and in disbelief at what I saw. Regretfully, you know, that’s just how life is.

“I had surgery to replace one shoulder, my hip, my back, and my shoulder.” Sometimes, all I could think about was [physical therapy].

In addition, two years ago, I began to walk a bit stiffly and shuffling my feet. I went to a neurologist, who performed a brain scan and identified Parkinson’s disease in me.

Thankfully, he claimed, he discovered the illness early enough for it to progress gradually, and since he was taking the appropriate medications, he was “cool.”

Following that, he declared that he was done with stand-up comedy and that he wanted to focus on acting and writing.

HONOURING LARRY DAVID
Larry honored her on Wednesday in a heartfelt statement that HBO released.

“My entire life, Richard has been like a brother to me. “We were born in the same hospital, three days apart,” he remarked. He was the nicest and funniest person at the same time, unlike most others.

But he made me cry today, and I will never be able to forgive him for that.

“Funny news: the great Richard Lewis has passed away,” tweeted Bette.

“Everyone will miss him; he was very funny.” The world, in Albert Brooks’ words, “needed him now more than ever.”

One admirer wrote, “One of the best things about Curb was always the friendship between Richard Lewis and Larry. RIP.”

“It’s Richard Lewis, forever,” stated another. “To an icon of comedy, rest in peace.”

A third said, “Richard Lewis wasn’t just a comedian; he left everything on the table.” His candor was quite endearing. We had a successful attempt.
