Jim Brown, an actor, civil rights activist, and former American football player, died on Friday at the age of 87. Michael Douglas gave a heartfelt tribute to him on Friday.

The Cleveland Browns described him as a “legend, leader, activist, and visionary” on Twitter. He played for the team from 1957 to 1965, and in 2016, a monument of him was erected outside the stadium.
