JamieLynn and AmieLynn Finley, twins who endured an 11-hour operation in January after being born in October 2022, are now back in Texas.

A Texas family is paying tribute to the lives of the once-closely related daughters.

JamieLynn and AmieLynn Finley were born on October 3, 2022, in Fort Worth, Texas, to James Finley and Amanda Arciniega. Three months later, the pair became the first set of conjoined twins to undergo separation surgery at Cook Children’s Hospital Center.

When they were released from the hospital and brought home, their mother reported that “everything is good.”

According to Cook Children’s Hospital Center, the procedure that separated JamieLynn and AmieLynn three months after their birth allegedly took 11 hours to accomplish.

There were more than a dozen medical professionals on the team, including four pediatric surgeons, three anesthesiologists, and one plastic surgeon for each girl.

According to the hospital, AmieLynn required particular care while she recovered from a previous chest operation.

However, since the twins were separated, a lot has changed. Even though their mother said they “still need a lot of therapy,” many family members were permitted to hold them as they had a shower.

The children’s parents told the media outlet that they are excited to watch what happens next since they can already see the personalities of their kids emerging.
