Mom, dubbed a “freak” for having over 800 tattoos, finds it difficult to get employment due of her appearance.

Her two devoted children still look up to their mother as a role model, even if her colleagues have called her a “freak.”

There are no inherent flaws in the woman’s looks. Rather, she has “prison style” tattoos all over her body and won’t stop getting more, claiming she is an addict in spite of her inability to find employment and the verbal abuse she gets when she leaves the house.

For the past 26 years, Melissa Sloan, a 46-year-old Welsh lady, has had a love/hate connection with tattoo guns.

Ever since she became twenty years old, she has been collecting tattoos.

Sloan has accepted her position as a social outcast and knows that her life will only get worse as she gets more successful.

“It’s similar to becoming addicted to alcohol or cigarettes.” I find it addicting, therefore I’m unable to quit now. I just can’t stop it,” Sloan said, adding that she purchased her own kit when tattoo parlors began turning her away because she’s “beyond help.”

“I carry the [tattoo] gun around with me in the boot, I’ll get one in the car or anywhere,” she continued.

Sloan’s partner still gets her three “prison style” tattoos every week, even though the extensive ink covering her face and body prevents her from finding a meaningful employment.

Her torso is covered with more than 800 tattoos.

Sloan said she used to make a livelihood by cleaning toilets, but she no longer wants to work in that capacity.

“I’m unable to get employment. They refuse to let me. Because of my tattoos, I applied for a job cleaning toilets where I reside, but they rejected me.Some have claimed, “I’ve never worked a job in my life; the one I did have didn’t last very long.” “But, if someone offered me a job tomorrow, I would go and work—I would accept that offer,” she went on.

Sloan alleges that because she is unable to get employment, she is regarded like an outsider and that anytime she leaves her home, people stare and point at her and verbally abuse her.

Worse, people consider me to be a weirdo more and more the more I have. “What are you doing that for?” crosses my mind as they leap out of the path. It’s awful,” she said. “I’ve always been myself; I can’t fit in with other people; this is something I expected in life.”

Sloan further alleges that she has been barred from going to school functions where her two little children, who are 8 and 10 years old, would be taking part. Even it won’t stop her.

The body art aficionado added, “The kids say, ‘Mum they’re looking at you,’ and I say, ‘Take no notice of them.'” She also mentioned that her children pick up on people’s bad attitudes toward her. “It breaks my heart to hear that my children will run away when they grow up.”

It is possible that Sloan has influenced and encouraged her children to view her as a role model, as evidenced by the fact that her children already like body painting.

With the understanding that the children would eventually get permanent tattoos, Sloan added, “They got some on their arms last night, they have school so they will have to take them off.” “I assure them that when they get older, they’ll have better ones.”
