Mom gets a gorgeous Easter dress at Target, but there’s a feature about it that’s dividing folks on social media.
While shopping at her neighborhood Target, a mother in Michigan noticed what she believed was a sweet little girl’s Easter clothing. However, upon closer inspection, she realized that it wasn’t really so modest after all.
She recorded her thoughts on the garment and shared it on TikTok, sparking a conversation.

While shopping at Target with her older daughter, Meghan Mayer saw a small girl’s garment with balloon sleeves and an appearance similar to a smock. Her first observation, upon closer inspection, was that they were waist-cut. She initially believed they were ideal for Easter.
“What the devil is happening here? Is there a significant issue at hand? Today.com was contacted by Mayer.
The mother of two, who also happens to be a seventh-grade teacher, claims to be “conservative” when it comes to her kids’ wardrobe choices, so she wasn’t sure whether she was exaggerating when she noticed the gowns at Target.
When she asked others on TikTok what they thought of the clothing, they had varying reactions.
Many individuals who agreed with Mayer said “I completely agree.” My kid is a 6/7 and 4 years old. Not suitable at all.
“Until you see the cutout, that dress is SO CUTE.” “Why did they have to make that mess?!”
Retailers, according to some, are “trying to mature our kids too fast.”
Yet, a sizable portion of the population found the cutouts to be acceptable.
The 1970s weren’t considered as strange when I was a child, and neither were halter tops and tube tops. This is not a huge problem, in my opinion.
Most likely an exaggeration. It’s quite adorable! Your point of view would make perfect sense if the hair were really short or very low cut.
I said, “This is for my six-year-old.” It’s rather adorable, huh?
What is your emotional state? For females this age, is the clothing appropriate?
