Teachers are not always given the appreciation they should receive for everything they do for the children. Being an educator is a luxury, but, not all individuals participating in educational processes have the ability to motivate young minds to achieve their maximum potential.
Kamdyn Piland is a 7-year-old individual who experienced public embarrassment from their instructor due to not passing a math test.
“He responded with 13 within 3 minutes,” she wrote on his paper, which she thought “unfortunate” and “quite pitiful.” Indeed, she penned these lines on Kamdyn’s paper, accompanied by a mournful look.
Chris’s father was really angry when he saw the exam. He couldn’t see how those comments could possibly inspire his son to improve in the future. Learning that his work was considered poor had a negative effect on the boy’s self-esteem. When Chris spoke to the instructor who had caused offense, all she could say was, “I apologize for the way you’re feeling.”
Chris posted his kid’s exam on Facebook, saying, “The teacher of my son Kamdyn has been very disrespectful to both of us throughout the year. He comes home with this and I am extremely frustrated that someone would write this on a child’s work. It’s great motivation.”
“She caused me to feel very unhappy and distressed,” cute Kamdyn commented to Fox56 News. I was quite angry. And it was done with ill intent.
Individuals were quite upset by the way the teacher treated Kamdyn, leading them to establish a petition calling for her dismissal. More than 20,000 individuals have endorsed the petition. Others, however, contend that although they may not agree with her actions, it was excessive for her to be fired for a single statement.
Chris decided to transfer Kamdyn out of her class following the incident because she was uncertain about how or if the school had addressed the problem.
“Maybe it will now be taken seriously, and it will help prevent it from happening to other teachers and students,” speculates Chris Fox56 News.
