Goldie Hawn has struggled with mental illness despite winning several prizes for her work, appearing in blockbuster movies, dating Kurt Russell since 1983, and having a growing family.
Goldie Hawn expressed her wish for a “regular life” in a frank video. She announced, “I wanted to go home, get married, start a dancing school, be happy, and have kids.”Although I was trying, I wasn’t really able to live a regular life. I received an Oscar while my professional career continued to flourish. Hawn is making a reference to the Best Actress in a Supporting Role Oscar she won for the 1969 film Cactus Flower.
When she was 24 years old, she would “go back into [her] dressing room and lie down.”
Hawn said, “I was quite freaked out about this anxiety coming over me.
“I physically and honestly stopped grinning. I didn’t feel very cheerful for someone who wanted to have a happy life.
Hawn asked a specialist for help in order to “learn more about what was going on with [her] brain.”
She said, “I chose to visit a psychologist. After a year, I started to relearn who I was.
However, you may be confident that I am accustomed to the emotions of anxiousness and despair.
Anxiety is what we experience when we are concerned, frightened, or fearful, according to the leading mental health charity Mind.
The “normal human response” to being threatened, particularly during difficult moments in life, is anxiety.
However, an illness can make a person’s life difficult when it interferes with regular activities.
When: Anxiety is a mental health condition;
You frequently experience severe or persistent anxiety.
Given the circumstances, your worries or anxieties appear out of proportion.
You steer clear of circumstances that could frighten you.
You struggle to manage your anxieties lest you experience severe sadness.
You frequently have panic attacks and display a variety of anxiety-related symptoms.
You have trouble carrying out routine duties or enjoying enjoyable pastimes.
Heart palpitations and stomach churning are two examples of the many bodily signs and symptoms that anxiety may produce.
Headaches, increased perspiration, nausea, and trouble sleeping are possible side effects of the illness.
Depression
In accordance with Mind, depression “is a low mood that lasts for a long time and interferes with your daily life.”
A modest kind of low mood, which makes getting through each day seem increasingly difficult and unsatisfying, might be a symptom of depression.
According to the organisation, depression may be lethal at its worst since it can make you feel suicidal.
Feeling is one of the primary signs of depression.

Therapy can be used to alleviate both sadness and anxiety.
One form of talking treatment, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), may be beneficial.
The solutions that are offered in your area can be discussed with your doctor or a mental health expert, Mind said.
