He had a significant global impact and was a remarkable Christian and Bible teacher. The return of one of Jesus’ saints is not mourned by those of us who know him, but this does not alleviate the grief in our hearts.

Some of his earliest memories of himself were spent at his grandmother’s house, where Charles Stanley was usually playing on the television. She most likely viewed each of his sermons twice, just like countless others.
The National Religious Broadcasters (NRB), the nation’s leading Christian media organization, expressed their sorrow over his passing.
Dr. Stanley founded In Touch Ministries in 1977 with the intention of using broadcast media to spread the gospel. He developed the first radio and television programs for spreading the gospel.
According to Troy A. Miller, President & CEO of the NRB, “Dr. Stanley leaves behind a lasting legacy as a torch-bearer and pioneer of Gospel ministry and Christian broadcasting.” “We were blessed to have such a dedicated servant of the Lord as a longtime NRB member, as well as a committed supporter and motivator of NRB’s activities. We are sending our condolences and prayers to Dr. Stanley’s family. Though we mourn his passing from this life, it gives us joy to know that he is with his Lord and Savior.
