This marked Kelli Tyler’s fifth pregnancy. The young Oklahoman woman was overjoyed to welcome her sixth kid. She used postings to update folks on her pregnancy.
It was tragic that Kelli passed away suddenly following her sixth delivery due to an uncommon issue associated with childbirth.
Tyler updated her Facebook profile photo last week when she was about to give birth once more. The next day, she passed away.
“The amniotic fluid got into Kelli’s bloodstream, and she was losing more blood than she could take in,” stated Julie Roach, Tyler’s mother. “I’m about to pass out,” she said was my granddaughter’s final words.
According to the Cleveland Clinic, an embolism of amniotic fluid is a “dangerous and life-threatening complication.” It may occur during labor or immediately following the end of labor.
The symptoms are “very difficult to diagnose because they can be similar to other serious complications during childbirth,” which makes it potentially lethal.
This explains why, according to the Cleveland Clinic website, “some people have a severe allergic response to amniotic fluid mixing with their blood for reasons that are mostly unknown.” This may result in lung failure, breathing difficulties, or a heart attack.
When Roach spoke about her daughter’s final moments, “she would come around for about a minute and code again.”
Tyler was giving birth to her daughter Jalie at the time. Jalie’s difficult birth may cause her to experience health issues down the road. We do not yet know this. Family won’t be aware “until she matures further.”
“Jalie will never really meet her mother.” But she’ll recognize her mother. “These images and recordings will be played repeatedly,” Roach declared.
The family created a GoFundMe campaign to assist with covering the day-to-day expenses of caring for the infant and the family during this trying time, as well as the unexpected medical expenditures. Three times the amount that was anticipated has already been raised by the sale since it started a week ago.

Reading this tale tears my heart. We’re hoping for the best for the family as they adjust to their loss. Discuss this with others so that more people become aware of this uncommon issue.
