A few years ago, Tim and Melissa Busfield relocated from Michigan to New York. They intended to live on a farm with horses, hens, and goats and purchased a cabin for hunting. However, the epidemic caused their preparations to take longer than anticipated.
They moved into the cabin and patched it all up, even though it was difficult. Old items that had been disposed of by the prior owners were still there. In addition, they rectified plumbing issues and dealt with mold and vermin. They heat the house with a wood fire and add red vinyl chairs.
Tim and Melissa cultivate their own fruits and veggies. Melissa is willing to take on the obstacles that come with living in a quiet house. She has a smile on her face as she works, finishing the day with a cup of tea.
Melissa is happy and satisfied at their small Catskills home, despite the fact that their life isn’t like that of Hollywood.
