The 26-year-old British mother Sarah Boyle views her infant as a hero since, last year, she discovered a life-changing discovery that she will never forget.
Her infant, who was only a few days old, would not drink milk from her right breast and would instead wail and tremble.
She visited her family doctor out of concern, and he recommended that she get more testing done. When the biopsy was performed two weeks later, she received a type II breast cancer diagnosis.
Thankfully, the illness was discovered early, increasing her chances of survival. “My hero is Tedi.” I never would have suspected I had cancer if it weren’t for him. It really did save my life,” she said.
Sarah is presently receiving chemotherapy and will soon have a double mastectomy and breast reconstruction via plastic surgery.
