Celebrity actress Sophia Loren is being prayed for by people all around the world.

Recent sources state that the 89-year-old actress was injured after collapsing at her Swiss residence. On September 24, when using one of her home’s restrooms, Loren reportedly collapsed.

According to Loren’s medical team, the incident resulted in her breaking several bones, including her hip and femur. Loren underwent surgery after being transferred to a neighboring hospital.

Ms. Loren fractured her hips today at her Geneva home, according to a statement she made to one of her social media accounts. After a successful operation, she will now need to follow a brief time of recuperation and continue a path to rehabilitation.
