Hugh Laurie’s appearance was unrecognisable when he was spotted out and about over the weekend sporting a long and bushy beard.
The 62-year-old actor, well known for his work in Blackadder and House, seemed to be in a completely different mood than normal as he observed the low-key occasion.
Hugh was spotted on Sunday strolling his beloved dog as he excitedly anticipated the premiere of his new sitcom Why Didn’t They Ask Evans. Hugh was wearing a pair of dark pants and sneakers when he was observed.
Hugh relaxed in the sunlight while wearing a navy pullover and a dark blue beanie to stay warm. He was able to avoid getting too cold thanks to the two factors working together.
The gripping murder mystery, which features an all-star ensemble, is based on the well-known 1934 Agatha Christie novel of the same name. The book was published under the same name.
Will Poulter plays Bobby Jones, the son of a vicar, and Frances Derwent plays Lady Frances Derwent, Bobby’s brave companion. Together, they investigate a murder.
Additionally, it has well-known actors as Lady Frances’ aristocratic parents, Lord and Lady Marcham, who are portrayed by Jim Broadbent and Emma Thompson.
Along with playing Dr. James Nicholson, a psychotherapist, in the miniseries, Hugh also directs it.
He said, “I loved this book when I was a kid, and I still do.” When I first realized the beauty of the underlying mystery, the hairs on the back of my neck sprang up, and they haven’t fully fallen down since.
Since then, the cast of characters has won my heart more and more, and I consider it a tremendous honor to be able to tell their narrative in this new way.
I promised, “I’ll do a tie for the shoot, and I’ll give it everything I’ve got.”
