The co-owner of Wrexham sent a love letter to Captain Ben Tozer.
After learning this week of Ben Tozer’s tragic family loss, Ryan Reynolds wrote him a message of condolence.
The co-owner of Wrexham AFC paid tribute on social media after the soccer star revealed the devastating news of his father’s untimely death two days after he was given a leukemia diagnosis.
Ben claims that Keith was diagnosed on Saturday and had a successful brain surgery on Sunday. But on Monday, at the age of 59, he went away suddenly.
The 33-year-old said in a tweet with the hashtag “Don’t leave it too late,” “On Saturday, I was told my Dad has Leukaemia, but it’s treatable!”
On Sunday night, he required a brain operation, which proceeded without a hitch. Then, he stated, the unimaginable happened last night. He waited too long, which is regrettably why everything occurred. He was attempting to conceal his excruciating pain, unaware of it.
They constantly received the advice to “go and get checked,” Ben continued. He was afraid of what it may be, to put it simply. I really appreciate it, Dad. I’ll always be able to recall our final conversation. I treasure you. I believe we all aimed to win your approval.

Ryan tweeted Ben’s message along with the comment, “So sad to hear this. I co-own Wrexham Football Club with actor Rob McElhenney. We are keeping you and your family in our prayers.
Ryan wrote “Gut-wrenching,” in reaction to Ben’s devastating news. Accept my heartfelt condolences to the Tozer family.
Ryan had already experienced heartache that was personal to him. He lamented the demise of Jay Fear, a Wrexham supporter who succumbed to appendix cancer earlier this year, four months after being diagnosed. He was 45.
Ryan sent condolences on Instagram Stories on behalf of himself and his wife Blake Lively, along with images of him, Jay, and his family.
“Jay Fear, may you rest in peace.” Jay appears in Ryan’s shot, which he wrote, “One of the bravest, kindest, and most generous people I’ve ever met.” Jay is one of the bravest, kindest, and most giving people I’ve ever met. I’m appreciative that Deb, Sam, and Jess shared their father with me.
Prior to Wrexham’s victory over Boreham Wood in April, which led to the team’s first promotion to the Football League in 15 years, the nonprofit Bucket List Wishes arranged a meeting between Ryan and Jay.

Ryan remarked at the time that it was wonderful to meet Jay and added that he felt “choked up” afterward. I’m not sure if I’d feel the same way if our roles were reversed. Even more important than his charming personality is his family. Since I knew how much his wife and kids will miss him, I felt some emotion while conversing with him.
Jay was overjoyed to see his “idol” and was also given a glove by Deadpool. Jay unfortunately passed suddenly before he could attend the set of the third movie, which Ryan had also planned for him to do.
