Lizzy Musi, the star of Street Outlaws, passes away surrounded by her loved ones following a year-long fight with stage 4 breast cancer.
According to her father, street racer Lizzy Musi passed away after learning she had stage-four breast cancer.
The Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings star from Mooresville, North Carolina, informed everyone about her diagnosis last year, forcing her to leave the program.
“Surrounded by her family and in the comfort of her own home, Lizzy was called to heaven at 11:25 pm tonight,” Musi’s well-known father Pat wrote on Facebook.
“I appreciate all of your well wishes and assistance during her illness.
The family would prefer to be left alone at this time so they can process their loss and start making plans.
“As soon as we have information to share, we will provide an update.”
After the racer won three straight episodes of Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings in 2019, girls and women looked up to her.
She also set a record for the fastest female time in eighth-mile doorslammer racing, clocking in at 3.802 seconds.
Lizzy Musi created another history in July 2014 when she triumphed in a Pro Nitrous national competition held at the Professional Drag Racers Association US Drags. The first lady to accomplish so was her.
Many people have expressed their admiration for a 33-year-old racer who came clean about having stage 4 triple-negative breast cancer, one of the most deadly forms of the disease.
In spite of the fact that the disease had spread to her liver and lymph nodes, Musi remained optimistic about her health.
Last month, while undergoing cancer treatment, she announced to the whole German population that she had “great news.”
The driver had already stated that she was heading to the Medias Klinikum treatment facility in Burghausen, Germany, even though she remained silent.
“I’ve pretty much tried everything here in the US, and I’ve looked into the doctor and treatment in Germany that can separate my liver and treat it,” Lizzy said to Drag Illustrated last month.
“This just hurts my heart,” a fan said beneath Pat’s message that was published on Musi’s Facebook page.
She offered a lot of food for thought to young girls. Witnessing her race was entertaining.
Somebody else described her as “one of the best female racers.”
“How upbeat and joyful she was inspired so many young people.” This is very unbelievable.
We regret the loss to her family. Lizzy, run quickly and up to heaven.
MY LIFE’S LOVER
This year, Musi expressed her gratitude to her fiance Jeffrey Earnhardt—the grandson of renowned Nascar driver Dale Earnhardt—in public for his unwavering support.
“From sleepless ER nights and dealing with my health to cheering me on at my races, this guy right here has supported me like no other,” Musi posted on the app.
“I saw him play this past weekend, and he played quite well considering the length of his off-season. @jearnhardt1 #gratitude #individuality #howloveshouldfeel
Following her breakup with racing driver Kyle Kelley in late 2023, they began dating.
Some information of Musi’s relationship with Earnhardt was disclosed in a heartfelt Facebook post that she made in January.
“Despite going through the worst time in my life, I found a man when I least expected it. It didn’t phase him, and he has loved me unconditionally since,” the woman remarked.
“No hair…He has witnessed me at my worst, illness or not. Receiving calls praising my strength and beauty; having conversations on FaceTime without my wig on and receiving praises nonetheless You have my sincere gratitude, Jeffrey Earnhardt.
Earnhardt has been referred to as their “soulmate” by millions of Instagram users, who have also congratulated him for “loving her the way she deserved” all the way through.
Earnhardt has received condolences from people, but she hasn’t yet made any public statements regarding her passing.
He provided an update on Musi’s return to competition when she drove her 1969 Camaro, Bonnie, to victory at Virginia Motorsport Park at the end of April.
Her partner said that she was “firing on all cylinders” with the squad.
CRAZY OUT
Musi passed away about two months after Street Outlaws actor Nathan Schaldach, often known as Cali Nate.
Nate was killed in an accident that occurred on April 6 in southwest Texas.
About two hours west of San Antonio, at Eagle Pass, he was racing when his car crashed.
The racer was transported to the hospital, but he passed away from his wounds.
His girlfriend Courtney Paulshock confirmed the news in a depressing Facebook post, expressing her feelings of being “shattered” after losing “her person.”
Musi spoke to her colleague as a “hell of a guy” and praised him.
The actress posted, “Hard to wrap my mind around this one,” to Instagram.
“We are all aware of the risks involved in riding in these vehicles.”
I got to race with Nate when we were filming the street performances in Vegas and California.
“Great guy and trustworthy street racer!” Say “Godspeed.”
In response to a question concerning Nate and Paulshock’s relationship, Musi urged his followers to offer prayers for his wounded girlfriend.
“Please remember to pray for and think of my good friend, @c_paulshockphotography!” She continued.
“I am aware of their intense love and inability to be apart.” My feelings are truly hurt by this.
