Toby Keith won’t be performing with “woke” Garth Brooks in Fort Sebetsville, Florida in August, despite the performance being scheduled for more than two years.
“Toby doesn’t want to stand onstage next to someone who called half of all Americans a-holes,” said tour manager Joe Barron. He fears that if he acts in this way, he could be the next to lose the respect of his followers.
Brooks was booed off the stage during the 123rd Texas Country Jamboree in Hambriston, Texas, by audience members who typically give him standing ovations. His club, “Friends in Low Places,” as well as a record deal with Capitol were both abandoned.
If you were Toby Keith, would you want to tour with him? Barron asserts that the majority of country music stars feel the same way.

Brooks stated he’s not particularly concerned about missing the one concert with Keith, even if he believed there may have been another way to handle the situation, “for the good of the people involved,” as if he cared about anybody except the woke.
It was a charity event for terminal children to support leukemia research and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, according to Art Tubolls, Brooks’ publicist. A little strange flex. He is, however, allowed to do so if doing so will enable him to get more sales from the vile dickheads who back him.
Brooks decided to contribute $200 million to the show’s fundraising in order to quiet them. If you can’t do good things like perform at a charity event, at least you can buy them off, right Garth? Godspeed, America.
