On February 6, Toby Keith’s crew used their official Instagram profile to announce the demise of the country music superstar.
Keith’s death occurred 18 months after he disclosed that he was fighting stomach cancer. Nevertheless, for the last several months, the musician had disclosed that he made significant progress while receiving treatment, and even made a temporary comeback to the stage.
“Toby Keith gently went away yesterday night on February 5th, with his family by his side. He battled this conflict with elegance and bravery. Please honor the privacy of his family at this time,” the message stated. Keith was just 62 years old.
On Sunday, only two days ago, Keith posted a video of himself on stage, raising his guitar for the big audience in front of him while enjoying the ovation after his performance. Sad.
Recently, Toby Keith said that he has made significant progress following being diagnosed with stomach cancer.
Keith has called off his tour after disclosing his condition in 2022. “I have undergone chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery for the past 6 months,” Keith stated in the initial statement he posted in June 2022.
“I was diagnosed with stomach cancer last autumn,” he said. Up to this point, everything is satisfactory. I require some time to catch my breath, recuperate, and unwind. I am excited about spending this time with my family. However, I shall meet the fans in the near future. I am excited.
Later, after over a year and a half, Keith astonished supporters by showing up for a celebration following the Oklahoma Sooners’ softball team winning the NCAA title. Now, he is providing a more comprehensive update on his struggle with cancer.
