EVERY graduate of My Children’s Esta TerBlanche hinted at her desire to go back to soap operas just before her untimely death.

At the age of 51, she passed away.

Esta’s relatives reportedly told TMZ that she passed away unexpectedly at her North Hollywood home.

It appears to the physicians who discovered her body that she had passed away the day before.

A few weeks ago, Esta made a hint in an interview with Soap Opera Digest that she would return to daytime television acting.

Esta told the newspaper, “Definitely something I would like to get back into.” She was a US citizen and a resident of South Africa.

Prior to her character’s death in 2001, she portrayed the troubled Hungarian princess Gillian Andrassy on All My Children.

In the final few weeks of the soap opera’s run, 10 years later, she returned to the role of Gillian’s ghost.

ABC announced in April 2011 that they were bringing the 41-year-old show to an end.

“Cameron Mathison and I were really emotional when I got back.” Regarding the actor who portrayed her love interest, Ryan Lavery, Esta remarked, “We both started crying when we saw each other.”

We hadn’t seen one another in years, so it was a very meaningful occasion for us at the time.

Esta decided to kill Gillian on the show after she stated that she wanted to return to her native South Africa.

But years later, Esta was eager to return to soap operas and intended to do so alongside the 54-year-old Cameron.

Following the late star’s passing, everyone from All My Children sent their condolences on social media.

She shared a photo of herself and Cameron on set from the past along with the heartfelt caption, “Rest in Peace, Esta TerBlanche.” I’m grateful that you presented such a lovely and thought-provoking show. Lovely Princess, you will be missed.
