As some of you are already aware, I’ll be trekking with @coppafeel in June to raise money and awareness for their incredible work and devotion.
Working with this amazing organization has been very essential to me, and without the lovely Kris, it wouldn’t exist.
After learning this, “This Trek will mean even more to me, and I hope that this is just one way that her legacy lives on.”
We will continue to spread the word in your honor, Kris: “Her request was that you inspect your breasts today. I adore the @coppafeel family and Kris’s friends and family.

“Sammy, your kindness and bravery during your personal struggle was and still is beautiful.”
Comedian Howard added in a tweet, saying, “What an amazing, motivating, life-chasing woman.”
“Kris, it has been an absolute pleasure to know you.”
“A heart full of love” was how Giovanna Fletcher described her death. She had a good time living.
“Kris’s work with @coppafeel has touched so many lives. Because of the word she put out that saved lives, a lot of people are here today. Let’s start enjoying the fact that we can still accomplish these things now that we are living. Let’s embrace the things that bring us joy. Let’s be in love. whole.
“Kris, you are loved. Maybe not with swimming pools, but I’m going to jump in all the frigid water and down all the tequila shots. Xx.
Her face was pure sunlight, as lovely as an angel, and she exuded kindness, compassion, and vitality, according to Fearne Cotton. She wanted me to draw a trapeze artist to sit over the scar on her breast, and I’m glad to report that’s what I did a few years ago.
Before Kris showed me that discussing death was not only acceptable but also essential, I was too terrified to do so. We ate cake together, spoke about animals for far too long, and occasionally we simply sat there in quiet. I have so much more I want to say, but this space is limited.
We’re going through old pictures and recollections and using terms like ‘was’ instead of ‘is.'”
“There are plenty of reasons to be both happy and sad.” Most of the time, I think of Kris’ twin sister, Maren. I cherish you, my friend. Everyone is here to support you.
Tonight, in honor of my beloved companion who has touched my life and saved a great deal more, I will light a candle. “Kris, I love you.”
