When it seemed like they were arguing on the red carpet, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez recently made news for all the wrong reasons.
Since the Los Angeles occasion, where the celebrity couple’s argument was captured on camera by photographers, stories have abounded. Let’s go right to the point: The majority of media outlets have probably over exaggerated the news. A lip reader has, however, explained what was spoken.
According to the lip reader who talked with FEMAIL, Affleck and Lopez did not argue during their time in front of the cameras, but instead discussed postures and placement.
The lip reader said that J-Lo asked her boyfriend whether her low-cut top was “showing too much” during the call as soon as photographs of the encounter appeared online.
Don’t worry, honey, Affleck said as he moved in closer to Lopez’s ear, assuring her that everything will be wonderful.
Lopez then reacted, saying, “Come up close to me.”
Affleck, who starred in Dogma, told Lopez, “That’s us, done,” before kissing her and asking how she was doing.
The couple’s interaction on the red carpet caught everyone’s attention because the following day, a video of Affleck “slamming” a vehicle door in Lopez’s face appeared on TikTok.
Online criticism of the film, which was dubbed “miserable,” sparked allegations that the A-list stars were at conflict with one another. Obviously, what happened at the movie premiere the next day did nothing but support these claims.
Fans may recall a different incident involving Affleck and Lopez that made news in February when Lopez allegedly gave the former instructions to act like he was having fun at the Grammy Awards.
It is claimed that J-Lo remarked, “Look friendlier.” I commented, “You seem motivated.”
Affleck said, “I might.”
Later, Affleck denied accusations that the experience left him disappointed and said that he had enjoyed himself.
The video below shows the ‘incident’ that happened on the red carpet:
Despite the negative publicity Affleck and Lopez have had, we are pleased that they seem to get along.
