Charlotte Guttenberg, 76, and Charles Helmke, 81, of Melbourne, Florida, have been named the “World’s Most Tattooed OAPs” for the past four years.
After spending over 2000 hours of their life tattooing their bodies, the two claim the Guinness World Record for the most tattooed senior people of their respective genders.
They first met in a tattoo parlor in 2006, and very quickly after that, they began dating.

Charlotte, a 57-year-old woman with a penchant for inking, has almost completely covered her body in tattoos but has decided to stop.
97% of Charles, or “Chuck,” as his family and friends call him, is covered in tattoos.
Charlotte expresses her creativity through body art. In contrast to some people, she sees herself as a living canvas, displaying art rather than having it framed and displayed on a wall.
Young and old alike are in amazement of what she has accomplished, and some of them admire her bravery and want to be just like her.

Charlotte, 57, decided to get a tattoo for her birthday after living with her second husband for years without doing so.
She continued in diving into the world of body alteration, though. She soon ended up in the tattoo artist Chuck’s studio, where he graciously offered to hold her hand while having a tattoo applied.
They started dating a year later after having an instant connection.
Charlotte set a staggering Guinness World Record for having the most tattoos of any one individual with 216 feather tattoos covering her body. With each passing day, her obsession with tattoos deepened.
Charlotte’s whole body is covered in tattoos, with the exception of her head and fingertips. She believes that her tattoos have no bearing on how she views herself or lives.

Chuck received his first tattoo while serving in the US Army at the age of 18.
After 41 years with only one tattoo, Chuck made the decision to get two more on the same day as his first. The intricate ink drawings on his sleeves then hid the scars from his third-degree burns on both of his arms.
He has the most tattoos, according to the former self-defense instructor. He stands about 6 feet 4 inches tall and has 376 tattoos of skulls all over his body.
He has so many tattoos that they cover 97.5% of his body at this time. When questioned why he chose to get so many tattoos, they said, “Because we can,” according to The Independent in 2017.
This embodies both their goals and their knowledge that there are no limitations to the amount of expression that can be achieved through body art.
Chuck and Charlotte take different stances on body art. Chuck got a tattoo in honor of his late wife, and Charlotte’s first tattoo is her favorite.

Even though their tattoos are radically different from one another, they both had to deal with unwelcome attention.
It wasn’t done on purpose because of the gorgeous patterns on their skin.
They regard the Guinness World Record that Charlotte and Chuck received as being remarkable.
Due to their tattoos, they have concurrently received some criticism, but they have remained unconcerned and stated that anyone who doesn’t like their designs shouldn’t look at them.
Since they wish to involve young people in tattoo conversations, many admirers have also contacted the pair for tattoo guidance.
