Sharon Osbourne Discusses Giving Up Television
Recently, Sharon Osbourne discussed her intention to leave television following some contentious remarks she made regarding Meghan Markle and Piers Morgan. In an interview with Daily Mail TV, she discussed her.
Concerns have been raised regarding the cancel culture and the absence of free expression in the industry. Sharon adamantly said that she would never watch TV again since the current state of affairs is “not a safe place to be.”
According to Sharon, the reason why people are scared to say anything disrespectful on TV is that they fear being taken to task for it.
She believes that she may be dismissed and made public with the slightest remark or opinion.
Whether she was correct or not, Sharon believed that the public would have dismissed her and punished her. She repeated, “Not even allowed to say what you really think anymore.”
There were no restrictions on what could be stated on television when Sharon was younger, she said.
However, she believes that business has gotten more rigid these days and that times have changed. Sharon stated that her determination to never watch TV again was strengthened by her concerns for her family’s safety.
Even though Sharon stopped watching TV, she is content with her current situation. She enjoys spending time with her family and working on projects like reading TV show and movie screenplays at the moment.
Although Sharon acknowledges that conditions for women have improved generally, she isn’t really interested in TV at the moment.
Even though Sharon Osbourne is no longer on television, she still values free expression and the strength of her voice. She still believes in her abilities and is aware that there are more producers out there who are open to hearing her out. Sharon wants to be free to express her political opinions and make decisions that are best for her family without fear of losing her job.
Ultimately, Sharon Osbourne has stated unequivocally that she would never return to television.
She believes the profession is dangerous and constrictive because of the cancel culture and the fact that individuals are unable to express what they want. Instead, she is putting her family first and making the most of any other opportunities that present themselves.
