Sarah Palin is prepared to continue with her life.
Following thirty years of marriage, the ex-governor of Alaska ended her marriage with Todd in 2020 and is currently in a relationship with retired professional ice hockey player Ron Duguay from the New York Rangers.
In a recent interview with The New York Post, Palin, who is 58 years old, characterizes her divorce as “extremely impactful.”

“It was the most shocking, strange thing I could have ever imagined, and it still feels that way,” she told the Post.
Palin disclosed in a 2019 interview that she learned of her husband’s intention to file for divorce via an email from his lawyer. They have a total of five children. Nevertheless, it seems that the previous pair has moved on, with Palin informing the Post Todd currently spends his time with his long-term partner.
However, Palin seems to be moving forward, since she is now concentrating on her new relationship with Duguay, 64, who was formerly married to supermodel Kim Alexis.

Palin informed the source that the bond developed when an acquaintance, Duguay, asked for advice with her legal dispute with The New York Times.
Although the case was finally dismissed, her relationship with Duguay — which she characterizes as “secure and pleasant” — has changed. Throughout the trial, Duguay acted as her guide in New York.
“During my free time, he would take me on walks around New York City, showing me the places where he and the Rangers used to go or engage in activities.”
Palin also said the Post, “Ron is the initial individual I’ve ever even conversed with regarding a lot of this personal matter.” So it has been helpful and refreshing to have Ron to converse with on topics unrelated to politics, as he possesses more practicality in his small finger than the group in DC.
Duguay has also shown strong support for Palin’s congressional candidacy. The previous governor of Alaska said earlier this month that she is running for Congress, aiming to take the position that has been occupied for many years by Rep. Don Young, who passed away in March.
“Today, I am declaring my intention to run for the U.S. House seat representing Alaska,” Palin stated, having already secured the support of former President Donald Trump.
“Public service is a vocation, and it would be a privilege for me to serve as a representative for the people of Alaska in Congress, just as Rep. Young did for nearly five decades.” I acknowledge that I am taking on a significant responsibility, but I want to pay tribute to Rep. Young’s accomplishments by dedicating myself to serving the state he cared about and fought for. This is because I also have a deep love for Alaska and the United States of America.
